Well, it took forever, but the nursery is finally painted and furniture is nearly in. Here's what we did:

We took this poster:

Why, yes, it does have gray in it. Like the rest of my house.

and made it the centerpiece of our design. The poster has gray (the color of our carpet), orange, cream, white, and light blue in it. So we painted the ceiling and trim of the room white and painted three walls (including the jump walls at the ceiling) blue. Then we did an orange accent wall onto which we'll hang the poster. Here's a taste of the final product:

The long dresser.

We still have to put the crib in. Our cream rocker/glider is also going to go in here, as will another dresser like the one above and some short, white bookshelves under the windows. There will be a few floating shelves on the walls (out of reach of the little guy). I may buy some Flor tiles and assemble a rug in the middle if I don't think it will look too cluttered once all the furniture is in.
